Gateway’s Studio 54  

Mandell Entertainment has partnered with the Gateway for Cancer Research to produce the The Cures Gala for the last four years. In 2019 this glamorous event was inspired by the Studio 54 era. From a cocktail hour infused with disco’s top hits, a riveting disco-themed opening act, one-of-a-kind auction items, inspirational stories of triumph over cancer, and high energy performances from Ceelo Green, The Sugar Hill Gang, Tony Vincent and the ABBA Revisited band; guests danced and celebrated the night away under the sparkling disco balls reliving this incredible era.

To date, over $85 million dollars has gone towards early phase clinical trials helping more than 5,500 patients. Gateway-funded cancer research helps people living with cancer feel better, live longer, and conquer cancer. The 2019 event raised a record-breaking 4.2 million dollars!
