The Organ Project

Founded in 2016 by Eugene Melnyk, the Owner and Chairman of the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. The Organ Project is a not-for-profit organization focused on ending the long wait patients endure on the organ transplant waiting list. This phenomenal evening is always headlined by a private concert performed by amazing talent.

In years past, the event has hosted the likes of Carrie Underwood and Canadian Hall of Fame Inductees, The Barenaked Ladies. Fun is had by all, as everyone sings and dances the night away. In 2018, other highlights included, performances by Juno Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk and transplant recipient 11 year old vocal powerhouse and America’s Got Talent finalist Angelica Hale, who treated guests to a tear jerking rendition of ‘Rise Up’.
